FEXCO Nordic cooperates with the charitable organization Lasten Tulevaisuus-Children’s Future in its annual fundraising activity for Philippine children. This year FEXCO Nordic pledges a donation for educational needs.

Trelleborg, October 29, 2007: On the 20^th of October the annual fundraising arranged by Lasten Tulevaisuus-Children’s Future was held in Helsinki at Svenska Gården. FEXCO Nordic’s donation will to be used for children’s education in depressed communities.  

Lasten Tulevaisuus is raising funds to finance its projects, such as the Back School project of Samaritana Transformation Ministries. The project supports the elementary education of the children or siblings of prostituted. The organization is also currently in its second stage of planning to build a library in Leyte province.  “We are very pleased to be a part of projects with such importance. For us the donation is a way of paying back to our customers mother countries, says Mikael Anderzén, MD Nordic.  “I was amazed to see how the little efforts that Lasten Tulevaissus is doing, are contributing much to the development of children who are victims of poverty. Through education, these children will surely break the cycle of poverty that their families are in”, says Kristheo Guerrero, a member of the Lasten Tulevaisuus’s Board of Directors.
